First Signing

I did it! First ever book signing at the Public Library Association annual conference! I was so nervous that no one would come by but we went through 100 ARCs in an hour.

Free books + librarians = true love.

Go Christy! Isn't that crampy-from-signing feeling one of the best ever? :)

Yay, and I was the first one!!! :) Lucky me!! Since mine were real books, people had to buy them (at a discount, but still), so we didn't do nearly as well as you did. It was still fun, though!

I'm so glad it went well! That photo is COOL. :)

Cheers,
Karen

p.s. I've been trying to find an email address for you, but... I have failed. Probably just me being blinded by revisions. Heh. But if you have a moment could you drop me a line? I wanted to ask you something re. promo for your book.

PLA rocks! I've never been but as a Youth Services Librarian (and YA writer), my hope is to go someday. Looks like it was sweet!

And she's off and running! Don't know ZILCH about such affairs but it certainly sounds like a positive event. You and your words have been set in motion.

WOW! 100 ARC's?
I've been trying to figure out how many arc's I'll need. I thought perhaps 10.
I'm so happy I found this blog. New follower.

Aren't book signings fun? They make you feel so authentic.

That's really cool. I'd be like you were - worried that nobody would stop by. Maybe my first one will go as smoothly as yours did.
