C'est la vie, c'est la guerre.

I must refer to Marcia's last post from our writing group's blog, The Lithia Writers Collective. I laughed, I cried, I felt her pain...and then I wanted to read more. How could you not when she ends with this:

Then our house burned down.
I’m glad it did.

With children in the mix, those deadlines are elusive. There are just too many unknowns--homework, self-inflicted haircuts, last minute "snack star of the week", the stomach bug . . .

I'm impressed that you ALMOST got it in.
